Instant Gold Value buys gold from individuals through home visits across Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai. For the personal data described here we are the data fiduciary under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

What we collect

Only what you type in, plus basic website data.

Contact detailsName, mobile / WhatsApp number, area or pincode, preferred visit time.

Item detailsType of gold, approximate weight and purity, and any message you send.

When you sellPAN, address proof and bank details for KYC and payment — collected at the visit, not on this website.

Technical dataIP address, browser, the page you came from and campaign tags (e.g. from Google or Facebook ads).

We do not ask for card numbers, passwords or OTPs — ever. Anyone asking for these in our name is not us.

Why we use it

To answer you, visit you and pay you.

To call or WhatsApp you about your enquiry and fix a home visit.
To complete KYC and pay you, as required by Indian law (Income-tax and anti-money-laundering rules).
To prevent fraud and the sale of stolen gold.
To measure and improve our website and adverts (anonymous where possible).

We use your data only with your consent — given when you submit a form — or where the law allows or requires it.

How we protect it

Encrypted website, limited access.

Our website uses HTTPS encryption. Enquiries are stored in a password-protected system that only authorised staff can open. KYC copies are kept securely and are never shared outside the purposes above.

How long we keep it

Only as long as needed.

Minimal — and only to improve the site.

We use a few essential cookies so the website works, and — where switched on — Google Analytics / Tag Manager and Meta Pixel to understand visits and advert performance. These load only after you interact with the page. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.

Children

We do not buy from minors.

Our service is for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. Gold belonging to a minor can be sold only by their parent or legal guardian.
